Who we are
Firmwatts runs this site from Milan, Italy. We decide how your personal data is used. EU law calls this the data controller. To reach us, use the Contact page.
What we collect
- The contact form. When you send a message, we receive your name, your work email, your company if you give it, the topic and your message.
- Technical data. When you open a page, our hosting provider records technical data for a short time, such as your IP address, the page and the time. This keeps the site safe and working.
The site sets no cookies. It has no advertising and no tools that follow you across other sites. The fonts and the video come from our own site, not from another company.
Why we use it
- We use your message and your contact details to answer you, and to take the steps you ask for before a contract. The legal basis is article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
- We use technical data to keep the site safe and to find errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for automated decisions or for profiling.
Who receives it
Two companies process data for us, under a contract. They may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Supabase holds our database. A contact message is stored on servers in the EU (Ireland).
- Vercel hosts the site. The part of the site that receives your message runs in the EU (Ireland). Vercel serves the pages through its worldwide network.
Both companies have their head office in the United States. When data goes outside the EU, the transfer uses the safeguards that EU law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep a contact message for 24 months after our last contact with you. Then we delete it. If you become a customer, we keep the data that the law tells us to keep, such as invoices. The hosting provider keeps technical data for a short time only.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data that we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it or delete it;
- limit how we use it, or stop using it.
To use a right, write to us through the Contact page. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), or to the authority of your own country.
The data about projects
The project data on this site comes from official public records. It is about companies, sites and procedures. We do not publish the names of officials, of private applicants or of other persons.
Changes
We change this notice when the site changes. The date at the top shows the newest version.
